Could it be done, they all wonderered? Could a mirror ball and a post-rock(ish) concept album come together and exist in harmony? Once again, Trucks Leaving proved that we don't know the meaning of "I wouldn't do that if I were you."

Notes
We were determined to play all six quarks in concert before we went to the studio, so we did it at this show. During soundcheck, the sound guy asked us how many vocals we had. "There are no vocals," we replied. A few minutes later, while we were practicing the end of "Beauty," the sound guy asked us to to play one of the songs from our set. "This IS one of the songs from our set," we replied. How the hell do godspeed make people understand?

Indie rock shows should never reach capacity. Then again, most indie rock shows don't feature bands as good as Shawn Hewitt and the National Strike! We were proud to share a stage with such a kick-ass combo. We only wish more people could have witnessed it.
